Summer Center
At our summer camp, children and teens will find themselves immersed in a fun and friendly environment, where activities are conducted in English and taught by native-speaking teachers. The Villa Grimani summer camp is open to children aged three and up. Students from our school and transfer students are welcome.
Parents can drop off their children starting at 8:30 a.m., and the day ends at 4:00 p.m. Lunch and snacks are provided by the school, and a school bus service is also available upon request. All activities take place inside the school and in our large park; children are divided into groups based on their age.
A tailor-made approach
for all ages
Each week, activities will focus on a different theme and will be differentiated to best suit the participants' ages and abilities. The various topics will be covered through fun, hands-on activities, such as creative crafts, songs, group games, quizzes, and various competitions. Children will also have the opportunity to participate in sports and team games, as well as water games. In case of inclement weather, they will be able to watch English-language films/cartoons.
For younger children, the activities offered will have a multi-sensory approach, with an emphasis on general English language learning and cognitive development, through fun and engaging activities.
For slightly older children, activities will once again be fun and engaging, with an emphasis on improving grammar, reading, listening, and speaking skills through group and pair work, games, music, role-playing, and art activities—also using our interactive whiteboards, an important educational tool that can motivate students.
There will also be a session dedicated to summer homework assignments, which children can complete with the help of their teacher.
