Recess and lunch break
Students have a 30-minute snack break each morning (students bring their own snacks). At lunch, students enjoy their well-balanced meal, always provided by the school, for the first 20 minutes, followed by an additional 25 minutes to play, let off steam, and recharge for the afternoon activities. During outdoor playtime, students are always supervised by their class teachers and support staff.

General information
Evaluation is part of our daily practice aimed at improving teaching quality. It helps us constantly monitor:
the quality and effectiveness of our teaching methods
the quality and effectiveness of our support and teaching strategies
children's progress
the knowledge and skills acquired
the skills acquired
the level of commitment of students to their work
the sense of responsibility shown by the students
the consolidation of students' strengths, abilities and aptitudes
the aim of helping develop the “weaker” areas.
Ongoing assessment is an integral part of the curriculum and a commitment to each child's progress. Teaching, learning, and assessment are interconnected, and the primary purpose of assessment is to enable students to continue and develop their learning. The teaching staff follows a comprehensive assessment program for every student in the school, and each child, starting in preschool, has their own personal "skills portfolio." Documentation relating to our assessment system is available upon request.
Evaluation documents are prepared twice during the school year, in February and June. It's always possible to schedule an appointment with teachers to discuss the contents of the evaluation documents.
At the end of each school year, middle school students take an internal exam to assess their learning level.
At the end of the third year, students take the First Cycle State Exam, required by the Ministry of Education, at another school. The exams consist of written tests in mathematics, English, Spanish or German, and Italian, as well as computer-based INVALSI tests. This is followed by an oral exam covering all other subjects (usually lasting 30-40 minutes).
