Discipline

The central role of discipline

Discipline is a very important aspect of every student's education and contributes to a peaceful school environment. All students are taught to be disciplined, and the school's conduct policy (available upon request) establishes detailed rules and procedures for administering discipline.

Regulation

Rules are essential for smooth school days and to instill a sense of responsibility and discipline in each student.

Please pay attention to the following points:

  • Attendance and punctuality are essential for students to make progress and achieve good results in their academic activities. Students must be at school by 8:30 a.m. every day. A register of tardies will be kept in the office, and if a student is late for three times, they will not be admitted to school until 10:30 a.m., missing the first class session. Students arriving after 9:00 a.m. will not be admitted to school until 10:30 a.m., so as not to disrupt the regular flow of lessons.

  • Classes end at 4:00 PM. We ask parents not to pick up their students early or to drop them off late, so as not to disrupt or disturb the rest of the class.

  • Parents are not permitted to call the school under any circumstances to request changes to the regular bus service for their children. It is the parents' responsibility to find alternative transportation if a change in destination becomes necessary.

  • Students MUST NOT be sent to school if they are ill in any way.

  • If students are sick, they cannot be sent to school late or picked up early – they MUST NOT come to school.

  • Students may skip classes for a medical appointment only if the appointment cannot be scheduled outside of school hours.

  • Students may skip physical education classes only if they have a medical certificate or a letter from their doctor explaining the reasons.

  • Absences/sickness. After the fifth day of absence, parents are required to provide a medical certificate for readmission to school.

  • Students may be kept indoors during recess only if they have a medical certificate or a letter from a doctor explaining the reasons.

  • Students should not bring medicine to school.

  • Students are required to attend for the entire school year, and all holidays must be scheduled according to the school calendar.

  • If a student is absent due to prolonged illness, parents may request homework. Homework will not be handed out for illnesses lasting a week or less, and will not be provided for any other reason.
any other reason than a prolonged illness.

  • Students are not allowed to bring food, candy, toys, money, or valuables to school.

  • ALL students are required to wear the full school uniform every day to attend school, as detailed in the School Regulations.

Children wearing inappropriate uniforms/shoes will not be admitted to school.
